Join us for the 46th annual Museum Mile Festival, a celebration of FREE art and culture at New York City cultural institutions along Fifth Avenue’s Museum Mile. 

The Africa Center welcomes attendees to explore two new exhibitions on view Except this time nothing returns from the ashes, Asmaa Jama and Gouled Ahmed’s short film and exhibition reimagines African identity and historical memory. The exhibition will include performances by Asmaa Jama, Caleb Giles and Ladan Osman. Attendees are also invited to explore I Hope This Helps a multi-sensory exhibition by Samiya Bashir. The Africa Center will also feature live music by Danaya Band, a West African collective bringing the energy and rhythms of Malian, Mandingo, Afrobeat music and more.
