Film at The Africa Center Presents 'On Becoming a Guinea Fowl'

Join us on Wednesday, March 25th  at 7:00PM for our Film at The Africa Center screening of On Becoming a Guinea Fowl, presented in partnership with African Film Festival, Inc. 

Runtime: 95 minutes

The Film 

On Becoming a Guinea Fowl (dir. Rungano Nyoni) - On an empty road in the middle of the night, Shula stumbles across the body of her uncle. As funeral proceedings begin around them, she and her cousins bring to light the buried secrets of their middle-class Zambian family, in filmmaker Rungano Nyoni’s surreal and vibrant reckoning with the lies we tell ourselves.
